About JTI Electrical & Mechanical Services Ltd.
JTI was formed as a company in January 2005 due to the introduction of building regulation part P. The company directors decided it would be a good idea to form a registered Part P company to enable them to carry out domestic installation work and be able to certify and register it with building control at the relevant local authorities. However upon setting up the company it was decided to go for full NICEIC membership.
Originally working from a converted garage at one of the director’s home premises, the company began life carrying out domestic M&E installation works. Due to the professional approach offered by JTI, the company quickly expanded and moved on to small to medium sized commercial installations for such clients as E.C. Harris, G.F. Tomlinson Birmingham and Greswolde Construction Knowle.
Due to the ever expanding workload the company moved premises in 2007 and took up residence in a factory unit in Tyseley. This enabled the company to efficiently handle the workload it was being given by its regular clients and also by new customers that were being introduced to JTI.
Both directors have a long history within the electrical installation business having the experience of working up through the trade from apprentices through to contract managing. They are able to offer a very hands on and personal approach to all clients projects that they are involved in and this has led to a lot a repeat work and a very close relationships with their long term clients.
JTI can offer both the full electrical and mechanical services package from the initial concept design works, through to project management and finally project completion and handover. JTI also has the experience of project managing complete installations including all sub contract trades carrying out building, decorating, office fit outs, ground works, etc. Please see our services page to see what we can offer.
JTI’s philosophy is one of on going improvement and expansion without losing the personal touch that it offers its clients. It prides itself on the service it offers and this is proved with the amount of repeat business it receives.
JTI are currently members of the NIC/EIC, Electrical Contractors Association, Gas Safe registered and are accredited to the ISO 9000 Quality Assurance scheme. JTI are always striving towards adding to this list

- C.S.C.S. Registered.
- First Aid Trained.
- C.R.B. checked.
- IPAF and M.E.W.P trained.
- Fully trained and qualified in the relevant field (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Asbestos Awareness Trained.
- Gas Safe Registered.
- Severn Trent Water Mark Approved.
- Rehau Approved Underfloor Heating Installers.
